【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthetestingofcarbonandgraphiteintensiontoobtainthetensilestress-strainbehavior,tofailure,fromwhichtheultimatestrength,thestraintofailure,andtheelasticmodulimaybecalculatedasmayberequiredforengineeringapplications.listssuggestedsizesofspecimensthatcanbeusedinthetests.Note1-Theresultsofabout400tests,onfileatASTMasRR:C05-1000,showtherangesofmaterialsthathavebeentested,therangesofspecimenconfigurations,andtheagreementbetweenthetesters.Note2-Forsafetyconsiderations,itisrecommendedthatthechainsbesurroundedbysuitablememberssothatatfailureallpartsoftheloadtrainbehavepredictablyanddonotconstituteahazardfortheoperator.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.
