【摘要】:Degradationofhydraulicfluidsandturbineoils,becauseofoxidationorthermalbreakdown,canresultintheformationofacidsorinsolublesolidsandrendertheoilunfitforfurtheruse.Thistestmethodcanbeusedtoestimatetherelativeoxidationstabilityofpetroleum-baseoils.Itshouldberecognizedthatcorrelationbetweenresultsofthistestandtheoxidationstabilityinusecanvarymarkedlywithserviceconditionsandwithvariousoils.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedureforevaluatingtheoxidationstabilityofpetroleumbasehydraulicoilsandoilsforsteamandgasturbines.1.2Thistestmethodwasdevelopedtoevaluatetheoxidationstabilityofpetroleumbasehydraulicoilsandoilsforsteamandgasturbines.1.2.1Rustandoxidationinhibitedhydraulic,anti-wearhydraulicandturbineoilsofISO32x2013;68viscositywereusedtodeveloptheprecisionstatement.Thistestmethodhasbeenusedtoevaluatetheoxidationstabilityoffluidsmadewithsyntheticbasestockandin-serviceoils;however,thesefluidshavenotbeenusedincooperativetestingtodevelopprecisiondata.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Identifiedhazardouschemicalsarelistedin7.3,7.6,and7.8.Beforeusingthistestmethod,refertosuppliers''safetylabels,MaterialSafetyDataSheets,andothertechnicalliterature.
