【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverssevengradesofdieselfueloilssuitableforvarioustypesofdieselengines.Thesegradesaredescribedasfollows:GradeNo.1-DS15Aspecial-purpose,lightmiddledistillatefuelforuseindieselengineapplicationsrequiringafuelwith15ppmsulfur(maximum)andhighervolatilitythanthatprovidedbyGradeNo.2-DS15fuel.GradeNo.1-DS500Aspecial-purpose,lightmiddledistillatefuelforuseindieselengineapplicationsrequiringafuelwith500ppmsulfur(maximum)andhighervolatilitythanthatprovidedbyGradeNo.2-DS500fuel.GradeNo.1-DS5000Aspecial-purpose,lightmiddledistillatefuelforuseindieselengineapplicationsrequiringafuelwith5000ppmsulfur(maximum)andhighervolatilitythanthatprovidedbyGradeNo.2-DS5000fuels.GradeNo.2-DS15Ageneralpurpose,middledistillatefuelforuseindieselengineapplicationsrequiringafuelwith15ppmsulfur(maximum).Itisespeciallysuitableforuseinapplicationswithconditionsofvaryingspeedandload.GradeNo.2-DS500Ageneral-purpose,middledistillatefuelforuseindieselengineapplicationsrequiringafuelwith500ppmsulfur(maximum).Itisespeciallysuitableforuseinapplicationswithconditionsofvaryingspeedandload.GradeNo.2-DS5000Ageneral-purpose,middledistillatefuelforuseindieselengineapplicationsrequiringafuelwith5000ppmsulfur(maximum),especiallyinconditionsofvaryingspeedandload.GradeNo.4-DAheavydistillatefuel,orablendofdistillateandresidualoil,foruseinlow-andmedium-speeddieselenginesinapplicationsinvolvingpredominantlyconstantspeedandload.Note1Amoredetaileddescriptionofthegradesofdieselfueloilsisgivenin.Note2TheSxxxdesignationhasbeenadoptedtodistinguishgradesbysulfurratherthanusingwordssuchas"LowSulfur"aspreviouslybecausethenumberofsulfurgradesisgrowingandtheworddescriptionswerethoughttobenotprecise.S5000gradescorrespondtotheso-called"regular"sulfurgrades,thepreviousNo.1-DandNo.2-D.S500gradescorrespondtotheprevious"LowSulfur"grades.S15gradeswerenotinthepreviousgradesystemandarecommonlyreferredtoas"Ultra-LowSulfur"gradesorULSD.Thisspecification,unlessotherwiseprovidedbyagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier,prescribestherequiredpropertiesofdieselfuelsatthetimeandplaceofdelivery.Nothinginthisspecificationshallprecludeobservanceoffederal,state,orlocalregulationswhichmaybemorerestrictive.Thegenerationanddissipationofstaticelectricitycancreateproblemsinthehandlingofdistillatedieselfueloils.Formoreinformationonthesubject,seeGuideD4865.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformaitononly.
